Unsolicited commentary and thoughts

I really have trouble with this blogging thing. Nothing interesting ever happens to me, and so I don’t write, but then I remember that a blog is usually full of random crap. So here it is.

I almost got a cat. I like cats a lot more than dogs because I’m too lazy to walk a dog all the time, and I’m sure there will be instances where I won’t be in the mood to play with the damn dog and he needs to just go away and leave me alone.

Cats do not have this problem. They are furry and clean themselves and will probably want me to leave them alone more than I will want them to leave me alone.

But anyway, I put my feline plans on hold indefinitely until I’m 100% sure I can take on the responsibility.

I went to the Newport Beach film festival a few times last weekend. The opening night movie was mediocre, although I got my Asian on at the after party and got many free food samples. We all agreed the party needed more Baldwins.

I’ve been taking a social dance class for two semesters now. They’ve taught me the beginning levels of Salsa, Swing, Tango, Waltz, and Rhumba. I took it partly cause I figured it would be fun (which it is) and partly to meet new people.

I found out the person I was dancing with was 17. I thought in my head that I don’t feel like I should be talking to her, much less touching her. Note to self: Learn to tell people’s ages better.
