Item No. 19

My college friend Greg married his high school sweetheart Marissa this past Saturday. They actually did the court marriage a while ago, and then the church wedding a couple of weeks ago, and this was just the ceremony and reception for friends and family, so that makes three times that they’ve been married. Greg said during his speech that for Marissa he would marry her a thousand times. Thanks for getting me all choked up you bastard.
During the ceremony there was a live musician playing acoustic guitar and singing. The first song he sang was “Will you still love me?” by Chicago. This got me wondering how much it would cost to get Peter Cetera to actually do this at a wedding.
I sent an e-mail to the booking link on Peter Cetera’s website, and after a couple of back and forths received this:
If you have a mid-five figure budget I could give you some wonderful ideas; for example Peter Cetera singing to a string quartet and or utilizing his duet partner singing a few hits at reception. We have actually done a few of these and they are quite extraordinary………also quite expensive.
Hope this helps.
I don’t know about everyone else out there, but:
Peter Cetera at my wedding > Buying a house.
Now I need to find someone who will marry me…
I wonder who his duet partner is? Maybe it’s Crystal Bernard. What’s she been up to?
