Item No. 68
Written on Saturday, November 22, 2008
A more dishonest version of myself would backdate this post and pretend I remembered to write a blog entry for November 21st. But I’ll get my ticket punched and board the fail train once again. I expect to board it one more time on November 30th because I am now way behind on NaNoWriMo and it’s highly unlikely I will catch up.
I was at the coffee shop for about an hour and a half on Thursday and managed to squeeze out a meager 300 words. It’s extremely frustrating as I’ve been saying since November 1st, but I’m glad that I’ve been getting a better feel for my characters and their conflicts. My plan after November 30th is to keep going to coffee shops and plopping down for two hours with nothing but my story open in front of me. Sure I might only write 50 words, but at least I’m dedicating time to the craft.
About
Eric Lim works as a front-end developer in Orange County, California and spends his time squandering his potential.
In his spare time he surfs the internets, pirates music and movies, pets strange kitties, and makes a big mess when he eats. He also tends to say things that make no sense because he doesn't really listen to himself when he talks.
