It’s been about five days since I’ve done any writing, and the upcoming holiday weekend is not going to help. My goal now is to hit 25k, since I believe I am about 1500 words short of that goal. A far cry from 50k, but 25,000 words is 25,000 more than I had at the beginning of the month.
I played a three hour session of Gears of War 2 last night in Horde mode. It’s ridiculously addicting to play with friends against the enemy AI, trying to find a good position and supporting each other when the computer throws overwhelming odds at you. It was just the three of us and we made it up to level 27 I believe – Horde supports 5 players. I almost feel like with four competent teammates it should be really easy to make it to 50.
