Unsolicited commentary and thoughts

I got my new phone, and I’m surprisingly happy with it. It’s Nokia’s newest entry-level phone, the Nokia 1680. I wasn’t too fond of it at first because the rubber buttons seem to be a bit harder to press, but I’ve gotten used to that. I was also freaking out at first because I couldn’t find the alarm clock feature and I use my phone’s alarm clock to wake up in the mornings. My dad even went through the trouble of finding an old alarm clock for me until I finally found it on the phone hidden in the organizer section. Like that even makes sense.

It’s got a camera too! And predictive text input! I feel so hip with this thing.

My diet’s pretty much gonna be on hold until the new year with all the festivities going on. Too much good food will be around tonight for the family Christmas Eve party, and I already indulged myself with a chocolate and peanut butter malt for lunch yesterday and then a scoop of Swiss Orange Chip ice cream at dinner.

Blockbuster’s been doing a buy one get one free deal with all used games under $15. I loaded up on a bunch of Xbox 360 games, and then I went back and got Wii games to trade in to Gamestop. Oh, and I bought a shirt the other day. I haven’t bought a single gift for anyone. Merry Christmas to me!
