Item No. 97

The last time I attempted to use Twitter, I lasted all of 12 minutes. I was overwhelmed with the people updating every few minutes with completely random tweets. What sort of person thinks that other people would be interested in knowing that the delivery man just knocked on their door? And what sort of people are actually interested in that?

Physical activity is not one of my favorite things to do. It just requires so much energy, and then there's the possibility of sweating. I stay up late a lot of the time because I'm too lazy to get up out of my chair and brush my teeth. However, I have ...

I figure I should do this list before people stop caring. Or start caring again. Hmm. In any case, here is the list of books/graphic novels I read in 2008, and once again, starred and bolded are my favorites.

I sometimes forget what I've written about on my site, and the last time I tried to check I realized I didn't have a search on my site. So you can now search through my amazing website in the archives. And again, adding that to my site took way ...

This Bubble Spinner game is ridiculously addicting. I haven't been addicted to a game like this in quite a while, and I forgot how fun yet frustrating it can be. Every time I die I get really angry and ask myself how it's even possible to lose at a ...

Well, I completely missed the inauguration (I'm not waking up that early), and I'm too lazy to sit through the entire video. I started reading the transcript of Obama's speech and stopped after the second paragraph. Don't think I don't care, though. I would label myself as being "cautiously optimistic" ...

That's right, I now have my Facebook status integrated with my site. It's really quite sad the amount of time it took me to figure it out. Stupid computer science degree. I went on a semi-impromptu not-so-spontaneous trip to Vegas on Sunday with my coworkers. Lost a lotta money to blackjack ...

On the way to work this morning KCRW played a cover of Vampire Weekend's "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" by Peter Gabriel and Hot Chip. Kinda fun, especially since Peter Gabriel is name checked in the song. Naturally, being completely disconnected from the music scene these days, this came out back ...

For the past week or so I've been having very "active" dreams. I'm not sure what to call them, other than the fact that they're memorable enough that I remember them when I wake up, as opposed to the dreams that I completely forget once I've woken up. That probably doesn't even make sense.

A bit late, but once again in the same way I started this blog off last year, a chronological list of all the movies I saw in 2008, either for the first time or for the first time in a long time. My favorites are starred and bolded.

The internet has so much win. Started with this video of Imogen Heap performing a song by herself with a sampler, which led to a comment where someone else linked to a YouTube video of KT Tunstall giving a tutorial on how to perform her song "Black Horse ...

As I had mentioned previously, Blockbuster Video has been doing a sale of buy 1 get 1 free on used video games $14.99 and under. They lowered the prices on some top titles today and I went out to look for them. I really don't know why considering I ...

My arms and shoulders are sore from go-karting at Dromo One in Anaheim yesterday. I managed to place third in the race, but first in the group of friends I went with. Then on the way out the cute girl that worked the front desk started talking to us ...

I planned on writing something before the year was over, but eh, I got lazy and I've been spending my time off just playing with the Xbox 360, watching movies, and reading Harry Potter. Speaking of which, I read through the last hundred pages or so of book four in one ...
