Item No. 108

Mostly due to the absence of things to do, I just signed myself up for Script Frenzy, which is very similar to NaNoWriMo except for scripts. 100 pages in 30 days is the goal this time, which really doesn’t sound like it’s that much at all. Of course I’ve never written a script, so what do I know.

I’ve now got just about a week to learn the proper format for scripts, and hopefully do some brainstorming and research before I begin. I’m opting to do a graphic novel so I might hit up some comic stores this weekend for inspiration. If anyone has good sources or links for stuff like this, please send ‘em my way.

I’m also a few episodes into season two of The Wire as well as a few chapters into the last Harry Potter book right now. The timing on this isn’t the best. I’m debating whether I should just try to plow through the two of them so I won’t have distractions throughout April.

About

Eric Lim works as a front-end developer in Orange County, California and spends his time squandering his potential.

In his spare time he surfs the internets, pirates music and movies, pets strange kitties, and makes a big mess when he eats. He also tends to say things that make no sense because he doesn't really listen to himself when he talks.
