The burgers at Five Guys Burgers & Fries just may be better than the burgers at In-n-Out. I’ve been to Five Guys twice now, and really enjoyed it both times. They seem a lot less greasy, and it’s nice that I can put on as many toppings as I want, among them tomatoes, grilled onions, jalapenos, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, A1 sauce, hot sauce, etc.
Tonight while I was there, I even ordered a bacon hot dog. I only had room for a bit, but it was really good. A bit different from the street vendors in LA since the hot dog and bacon are cooked separately instead of with the bacon wrapped around the dog, but still good. Maybe even better since it allows the bacon to get more crispy.
As far as I know, the only two in SoCal are in Carson and Cerritos, and I’d highly recommend checking them out.
