Item No. 144

It has occurred to me that I’ve never kept a list of tv shows I watch and finish. So, let’s start.
Battlestar Galactica (2004)
Really not happy with the way the show ended. It’s hard to recommend the show to people because of that, but it’s still worth a watch, just not something easy to recommend.
The Wire
I’m with the majority on this and consider The Wire to be an excellent show. You’ll find enough praise from all the other people who claim it to be the best television show ever, so I’ll leave it at that.
Party Down
Notable for being created by Rob Thomas, the same person behind Veronica Mars. Honestly I don’t remember much of this show anymore, but I do remember enjoying it.
Eastbound and Down
You’ll find yourself surprised to be rooting for such an asshole.
Coupling (UK)
I loved this show. There’s a lot of moments where I found myself laughing so hard I had to rewind just to hear the joke again. One of the key characters disappears in the last season, which I was kind of sad about, but the replacement does an admirable job.
Fawlty Towers
Meh. I was expecting this to be a lot better with all the praise and recognition it receives, but I found it hard to relate with John Cleese’s characters. A few of the episodes were excellent, but a lot of them were just whatever.
Arrested Development
Probably not fair to have it on here since it’s a rewatch, but who cares. It’s amazing, and I caught so many more jokes this time around. I’m already tempted to watch it again. I should just have it in continual rotation in my schedule.
About
Eric Lim works as a front-end developer in Orange County, California and spends his time squandering his potential.
In his spare time he surfs the internets, pirates music and movies, pets strange kitties, and makes a big mess when he eats. He also tends to say things that make no sense because he doesn't really listen to himself when he talks.
